Swarovski Runway Rocks at Soirée Fantastique, Diner de Têtes at the Belvedere, Vienna

11th September 2008, at the Exhibition of “Fantastic Realism” Swarovski, the world’s leading producer of cut crystal for jewellery, fashion and interiors, will feature five of it’s RUNWAY ROCKS couture jewels during the Soirée Fantastique, Diner de Têtes, at The Belvedere, Vienna.

RUNWAY ROCKS is a collection of spectacular catwalk jewels, specially commissioned by Swarovski from the most cutting-edge designers around the world. In each of these one-of-a-kind creations, crystal, the timelessly modern material of the moment, is the shining hero.

Celebrating the rarefied art of catwalk jewellery, and paying homage to the company’s long tradition of creative collaborations with couture, SWAROVSKI RUNWAY ROCKS, provocative and inspirational, challenges conventions of jewellery, sculpture and body ornament, exploring form, volume, movement and light, finding new expressions for crystal creativity. 

SWAROVSKI RUNWAY ROCKS launched in London, in 2003, with a barrier-breaking, conceptual catwalk show, the first major show of its kind devoted to jewellery.  Several new collections have since then toured the fashion capitals of the world, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo, Moscow, Barcelona, Mumbai and more.

Now, for Soirée Fantastique, Swarovski brings RUNWAY ROCKS to Vienna displaying five of it’s unique designs that encompass “Fête a Tête”, by five of the world’s most cutting edge international designers; Naomi Filmer, Sarah Ho Farah Khan, Rodrigo Otazu and Denis Simachev.
