The contemporary world of fashion and custom jewelry is strongly marked with the variety of CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements. The vividly elegant stones are used in endless variations and designs, jewelry sets with Swarovski crystals are adapted to casual style and to stage appearances, alike.
For over 100 years, Swarovski, the brand synonymous with ingenuity, poetry and technology, has developed its supreme mastery of precision-cutting, to become the world’s leading producer of cut crystal, genuine gemstones and created stones.
As a great supporter of the arts, with emphasis on young upcoming designers, CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements has been collaborating with Academies around the world, including Shenkar College.
Collaboration projects with Shenkar’s Jewelry Design Department enable our students to design and create with CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements on a simulation basis adapted to the business and artistic world of jewelry design.
Jerusalem is this project’s theme and inspiration source for the work in this catalogue.
According to the requirements of second year design course, the students have designed “one of a kind” collection of body jewelry – a piece that trails the body line and emphasizes the chosen epic, story - Jerusalem from a personal point of view.
The different face of the city as a reference and inspiration bank translated into a visual language to create an act of visual composition using different materials.
We wish to take this opportunity to emphasize our acknowledgement to Yalon company, the official representative of the Swarovski group of companies in Israel, in its tribute, stimulation and devotion to all collaboration projects between CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements and the Shenkar College. Yalon supports fashion and jewelry departmental projects, as well as individual college graduates for more than a decade, in local and international activities.
