Jonathan Saunders - New York Autumn/Winter 2008
"This season, I wanted to explore the technique of pontiage further. I designed pieces using crystals set alongside materials such as leather and brass in simple bands and strapped around the wrist. Combining architectural and industrial references with an ancient and earthy colour palette to create a range that combines a modern feeling that is also are reminiscent of the past. I also wanted a feeling of easiness, like the simple bracelet and ring. Other pieces in the range play with scale and are worn as oversized trinkets on belts and loops on garments."
