"I love working with Crystallized Swarovski Elements. This season I found these stills from Peter Brooks 70’s production of A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM. There is a kind of surreal aspect about his version of the play that I love; it’s all about contrast.
Therefore I loved the idea of using really saturated colour with softer weirder shades of pastel, like the Light Azure crystal for instance mixed with crystal pearls. I really want this season to feel a little more softer and dreamy and also really luxurious. The Crystallized Swarovski Elements added to this.
Mixing all those crystal shapes and colours creates a brilliant effect, and also adds a beautiful weight to the garment. It actually changes the shape and silhouette of the garment; it’s like painting with the crystals. We are actually building up the garments with crystals."
