Swarovski and Balenciaga: Partners in style
Swarovski, the world's largest producer of cut crystal for fashion
and jewellery is delighted to support the Belenciaga exhibition at
The Musée de la Mode, Paris, from July 6th 2006 to 28th January
2007.
THE "PYRAMID" COUTURE BROOCH.
Following the company's long tradition of creative collaboration
with the leading lights of couture, Swarovski, has joined forces with
Balenciaga to re-create a seminal 1960s crystal brooch from the
couturier's archives. The brooch, a limited edition of only 100
individually numbered pieces will be launched on July 5th, to mark
the opening of the exhibition. The original Pyramid brooch, a
cascade of floating metallic crystals, was originally created by
Cristobal Balenciaga in 1963.
